In support of the UK’s telecom diversification strategy, the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) have committed an initial R&D investment of £250m.
This investment aims to accelerate the technical development of high performance open-interface technologies, such as Open RAN, and boost the availability of viable, open new entrants into the UK market.
